1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines what you can and cannot create using AERIOX Studio. Our goal is to enable powerful creative tools while preventing harm. This policy applies to all users of the Platform, regardless of subscription tier.

3.2 Deepfakes and Unauthorized Likenesses

3.3 Harassment and Abuse

Doxing or non-consensual sharing of private information

3.4 Impersonation and Fraud

Generating fake credentials, documents, or identification
Creating fraudulent reviews, testimonials, or endorsements

3.5 Illegal Content

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — reported to NCMEC and law enforcement immediately
Content promoting terrorism or violent extremism
Content that facilitates illegal activities (drug trafficking, weapons manufacturing)
Content that violates intellectual property rights with intent to defraud

3.6 Spam and Manipulation

Automated mass generation of content for spamming purposes
Astroturfing or creating fake grassroots campaigns
Generating content to manipulate public opinion or elections
Creating bot-generated content that masquerades as human-created

4. Content Moderation

AERIOX employs a multi-layered content moderation system:

4.1 Automated Screening

All AI-generated content passes through automated safety filters at the point of generation. These systems screen for prohibited content categories including explicit material, violence, and known CSAM hashes. Content that triggers safety filters is blocked before delivery.

4.2 Prompt Filtering

Prompts submitted to AI generation models are screened for prohibited intent. Prompts that clearly request prohibited content types are rejected with an explanation of the policy violation.

4.3 Reporting

Users can report content or accounts that violate this policy. Reports are reviewed within 48 hours. Confirmed violations result in content removal and appropriate account action.

4.4 Proactive Review

We periodically review publicly shared content and publishing activity for policy compliance. We may also review content in response to external reports or legal requests.

5. Consequences of Violations

Violations of this policy are handled through a progressive enforcement system:

Level 1: Warning

First-time or minor violations result in a warning notification explaining the policy breach. The offending content is removed.

Level 2: Temporary Suspension

Repeated violations or moderate-severity offenses result in a temporary account suspension (7-30 days). Generation capabilities are disabled during suspension.

Level 3: Permanent Ban

Severe violations (CSAM, terrorism, persistent abuse) result in immediate and permanent account termination. Remaining credits and subscription fees are forfeited. Illegal content is reported to law enforcement.

AERIOX reserves the right to skip levels and escalate directly to suspension or permanent ban based on the severity of the violation.

6. Appeal Process

If you believe your content was incorrectly flagged or your account was wrongfully suspended, you may submit an appeal:

  • Submit an appeal by emailing joshua@aeriox.co with the subject line "AUP Appeal" and your account email.
  • Include details about the content or action in question and why you believe the enforcement was incorrect.
  • Response time: Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days.
  • Outcome: If the appeal is upheld, your content will be restored and/or your account will be reinstated. If the appeal is denied, the original enforcement stands.

Appeals for permanent bans related to illegal content (CSAM, terrorism) are not available.

7. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content on AERIOX Studio that violates this policy, please report it:

  • Email: joshua@aeriox.co with the subject line "Content Report."
  • Include as much detail as possible: the content in question, the account involved, and the nature of the violation.

All reports are treated confidentially. We do not disclose the identity of reporters to the reported party.

7.1 Reporting Non-Consensual or Deepfake Content (48-hour SLA)

Two federal laws require AERIOX to remove reported content within 48 hours:

  • TAKE IT DOWN Act (15 USC §6851, signed 2025): non-consensual intimate imagery, including AI-generated.
  • NO FAKES Act (April 2025): unauthorized digital replicas of a real person's voice or likeness.

If you are the subject of such content (or are a parent / guardian / authorized agent of the subject), use the dedicated takedown form — you do not need an AERIOX account:

Submit takedown request →

Upon submission you receive an incident ID and the SLA deadline. Our team is alerted immediately and you will be emailed when the request is acted on. For direct contact, email safety@aeriox.co.
